What the hell is BofA Treasury Summer Analyst
Is this just some paper pusher job, or what?
A division of Global Banking and Markets (GBAM), the Treasury team provides integrated treasury, liquidity & debt solutions to Global Corporate, Commercial and Financial Institutions. As a core member of the client team the Product Delivery Team partners closely with groups across Banking including; Product Management, Ecommerce, Card, and Debt Product Delivery teams to deliver integrated solutions to our client.
..I think it's just about helping clients move around money more efficiently. What is treasury management? Have no idea what this is and have an interview tomorrow.
Any quick words here would be great.

This is an over-generalization, but it's basically cash management and transaction services for global clients.
The job is managing treasury solutions for corporate clients. You would be working with the controller/CFO to manage cash receipts and payments. Moving money between accounts, opening/closing accounts, managing outgoing payments, corporate credit cards etc.
Not particularly analytical.

For anyone who may interview with them soon- Just asked: What's BAC stock price, what's WACC formula, where did S and P 500 close, where did Dow close, 2 strengths, 2 weaknesses, why treasury in particular.
Why did they ask about WACC? Seems totally unrelated..
