What time do you guys get in?
I’ve been coming in later (9:20-9:30) half the week. Not a good look. Wondering what’s usual for other banks

Honestly good Seniors don't care.
I care that you work hard, get the work done to a good standard and pitch in to help the team if you're not busy.
The only time people care about face time and input is if your output is lacking. Or they are toxic idiots.
I come in between 9 and 9:30 and honestly not enough people are around to care. Two days a week WFH policy means only half the analysts will be in the bull pen. Also have seen second years roll in at noon and stay much later given the timing of their projects
Between 9:30 am and 10:00 am, but my seniors get very late to the office so I'm still the first one
Depends on how late I was up / if I have morning meetings. If we have an MP starting at 8am I will do that from home and come in at noon. Pretty standard culture in my office
~10:30. 2nd year baby
Between 9:30am and 10:00am
Around 9:15-9:30 am
Between 9.15 and 10 during my summer internship and i got the offer. Was obviously hustling during the day/night
Depends on how long the metro takes but usually between 8:30 and 9:00
Between 8:45am and 9:45am.
At my bank this summer, FTs would come in anywhere from 8:30 to 11:00am. I think those who came in later did WFH before arriving.
I'm impressed by some of the MDs living in CT or upstate who manage to arrive before their analysts everyday, though that was only the junior MDs, not the senior ones.
Easy to get in early when you aren't working till 4am on 20 strip profiles for a pitch going nowhere.
7:30am. Ignore username, I work in DCM at a BB. The bright side is that I leave by 8:30pm everyday, latest I’ve ever worked was 10pm (only twice). Weekends are off too and bond market holidays like veterans days are off. But yea it’s still a pain to go that early
I aim for 9:30-10 but like others have said it's work dependent. Any calls 9 or earlier will be taken from home and sometime get caught up in work making the commute feel silly.
*most* people don't seem to care but once my VP pinged me "you gonna come in today?" passive aggressively after we had been up til 4am and had a 9am call that I took from home. I was in by like 10:45
That VP sounds great! What a leader
Worst part was I was already on the subway when the message came through, had left shortly after that morning call
summered at s sweatshop people usually rolled at 9:30 - 10:30
Between 945 to 11 depending on how back to back jammed I am with calls
Usually come in at ~11am, on a few transactions in a different time zone for the past year so after consistent late nights everyone is pretty understanding
