What time do you guys get off work?
What time do you guys normally get off in Ibanking? I'm talking about MM/boutique shops mostly but also interested in elite boutiques and BBs. I see the standard 80-90 hours/week thrown around here but what time are you out the door by? I'm assuming its the name deal M-Th maybe even Friday if you are unlucky. And Saturday/Sunday...I have no clue.
Please don't exaggerate and say something 9am-5am Mon-Sun. I already think you guys are cool.
3:50 a.m.
I'm at a boutique. I usually leave between 2000 and 2100. I then eat dinner, relax for an hour or so and work from home. Normally I work until 2300 - 0000 from home, but lately it's been from 0100 - 0300.
Usually right before I go to sleep. The endorphins help me relax.
I don't usually get off at work, but when I do I do it in the restroom right after lunch.
Literally SB'ed this because that was exactly what I thought he meant with the title "What time do you guy's get off"
worked at a MM type botique in NY last summer typical hours were until between 12:00am-1:00am. Def did have some later nights and a Sunday where did not leave until 4:00am.
That said I roomed with a friend who worked Healthcare at an MS/GS/JPM and a friend who worked at Moelis/GHL/Evercore type place and I was home before them every night...
Cant say I ever got off at work sadly though
LOL love the fact that OP changed the title.
Analysts get taken out at about 11 on average. Face-time b1tches.
Usually around 8.
Where do you work? Or how big is your shop? Or are you trolling?
7 usually. 5-6 during summer
Well-sized, just in a great group and I am extremely, extremely efficient.
Mon-Thu: typically around midnight Fri: 7pm WE: completely varies with project but generally try to get out by 6-7pm if working on the day
Usually around 6:30-8:30. Been a little slow lately...
9 PM right now...usually 11.
I have to be at my desk[boutique fund] by 2am(EST) and my team usually wraps it up for the day around noon . I love my schedule, allows me to get a lot done outside of work.
we're FX driven and my team starts around the london open and goes through the london fix.
Varies - some nights I left at 7/8 and others I left at 5am. But on average I would say anywhere between 10pm-1am.
you mean getting OUT of work?
i once left at 7:30, and that was the latest. 6:30 is usually very late for me, and I'm off anywhere from 5:30-6:00 on a regular day.
i work in f500 finance, not banking. i don't make as much as you guys and the quality of work, learning experience, and exit opps are not as good, but all of this free time has given me the opportunity to pursue other things outside of work. i'd rather be in banking, but this is not so bad either.
Usually when nurse joy comes around with her short skirt in the pokemon center and shows me her jigglypuffs
in 530 out around 6 pm
BB
