What time to get a coffee?

When you guys are doing an in person coffee chat, what time are you typically meeting with the person? What's throwing me off is I'm also currently working an internship, so prob won't be able to leave work before a certain time, but am unsure if it's acceptable to get a coffee at like 6:30 pm lol

Not sure if anyone has any better answers (since I'm answering my own question lol), but after asking a few friends, they all recommend early morning. It's sort of up to the banker/person your meeting's discretion tho. So, I'll basically try to catch someone on their way to work for 20 minutes to talk, then go into work myself.

Are we really asking what time to grab coffee…..

Just grab coffee at normal times that ppl grab coffee? And no unless you are working in Milan or Paris no one is tryna get coffee at 6:30pm

Don't overcomplicate it - ask the banker to meet in person and have them suggest what location they prefer, some might take a second coffee if they know a 3am night is incoming :)
