Considering a move to a Chicago EB. I’m currently in New York in the MM and have a pretty decent life. Have been able to manage my schedule relatively well. Still some weeks where work takes over everything but otherwise been able to not work much after 6pm. Wondering what it will be like at an EB at my level

Feel like it's a near guarantee your life is going to get way worse, esp in your first year as you're ramping up and building trust. Getting done w/ work at 6 on most days as mentioned above seems unbeatable.
I mean city doesn’t make a difference as much as group does
My VPs (the ones I enjoy working with) rarely ever leave before 6pm and the ones that do no one likes working for
