Whats the lateral situation like during COVID? I have some connections I want to massage for a leave from my current shop around Q1 (maybe end of March) so I'm asking if anyone at BBs have been looking for any analysts or if that market is completely dead right now and probably will be come end of Q1 2021.

Been trying to lateral since the beginning of the year. I would say it's actually picking up at the moment a little but is very group dependent as it always is with lateral recruiting. Some groups I have connections in are doing no hiring in the near term while on the other hand I'm in the early stage of processes at 2 different shops right now. This is much better than a few months ago when basically no one was touching head count and entertaining the thought of hiring
