When are bankers returning to the office?

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to get some insights/opinions/insider information on: - When are bankers returning to the office? - How long is WFH going to last?

I think many incoming analysts and/or junior level bankers would like to get at least an idea.

Thanks a lot!

4Q at best is what we're hearing although there is certainly a lot of interest in people wanting to go back sooner. No one wants to wear a mask in the office. How can you take a call wearing a mask?

I know my bank has been sending around surveys to see who's concerned / what makes people feel safe / etc, but no specific guidance for NY. My guess is probably in the July time frame, though technically bankers are essential workers in NY (lol) so they can make us do whatever they want.

They've also sent people back to the office in two-week shifts in some of the less urbanized cities (e.g. Houston, Charlotte).
