When did banks do first rounds last year?
Wondering when each firm conducted first round interviews and/or gave offers. For BB/EB/MMs?
Were any especially early or usually go first/last?

I can shed some light on this since I had the same exact question last year and didn't get too much help. You certainly want to time your prep according to when interviews are expected to start - though you can never be certain. This is for most BBs and EBs:
RX processes started first: began in late January/early February, wrapped up mostly by early March.
M&A processes started after: began in late February/early March, wrapped up mostly by mid to late April.
I'd say, on average, it takes around two to three weeks from First Round to Superday. Have to keep it pushing after each interview. Good luck!
tHIS IS true for bottom bucket banks only
Can anyone give more bank specific info?
Yes if PJT RSSG and Goldman Classic are bottom bucket then you're right on
When did most apps open last year? This year it seems like Jan 1 (GS, JPM, EVR) and Jan 15 (BofA, MS) are the "big" dates, along with a smattering in Nov/Dec like HL, DB, PWP, and LAZ.
Did Lazard open?
Following - curious about lateral recruiting. I'd anticipate banks will start building a pipeline going into bonuses. Maybe late Jan / early Feb?
Hey am the BB recruiting captain dude from the other thread:
This is going to be a much earlier recruiting season sadly. Goldman decided to push their timelines up to Jan 1st and thus all firms had to follow so as to not lose out on talent. We are basically all going in Jan for app opening, I would expect all super days by Feb and done by March times. Last year's info isn't helpful here because of one bank so drastically going early. FYI, JPM has publically and internally wanted to do recruiting later but has been pushed upwards (alongside the rest of the banks) because of Goldman doing a race to the bottom. Usually, the EB's go first, but GS this year pushed even past them. Yet when they go on campus, they probably still say the same BS they did when I was in school: which is that GS hates how early the process is and wishes it were later.
If you can't tell, slightly salty since it makes my job much more annoying, but ye expect a much earlier recruiting process courtesy of GS.
Got it, unfortunate. Which banks do u think will have the first R1’s - GS?
GS on campus said they wished they could go later but were forced to go earlier due to other banks. hahaha
Every bank says that...EVR and JPM said it at ours.
