When to apply for MSc Finance

How important is it to apply to the first round of masters in finance programmes? I have not started my GMAT study yet, but applications open around October.

I will be applying for the usual target programmes across the UK and Europe (LBS, LSE, HEC, Bocconi etc)

Would I be a at a big disadvantage if I waited until November to apply? I'm currently doing an IB internship and it has been impossible to find time sleep and exercise, so GMAT study has not been possible.

I start my final year of undergrad next month so would be willing to study for several hours a day with the aim of sitting the GMAT in October.

Any insights are much appreciated!

i know for sure that hec first round deadline is in october, bocconi's is in november. i'm not sure about lbs because it requires work experience i think and lse has rolling admissions so no first rounds

Got in one of the four programs that you mentioned for this year’s intake. Advice I got at the time (at least for what was my target program) was that you should apply as soon as you’re ready because most spots (~80%) were filled in the first 3 rounds with most spots filled in round 2 and 3
