Specifically, the rationale behind a certain deal. I read a WSJ and a Bloomberg article about a deal I’m going to bring up during an interview, but I’m not sure if they go deep enough. Does anyone know where I can get a detailed analysis of recent deals? Or will WSJ and Bloomberg articles be enough?

Usually it’s pretty simple tbh. There’s a high level only a handful of reasons, all of which point to a good investment e.g. Capital is well used for acquisition than returning to shareholders etc
