I am asking for a friend of mine who is still a junior in college. He is still struggling with finding something this summer. What suggestions do you guys have about where to search for something decent so he can be in good shape recruiting for fall?

cold call local boutiques
He should ask for access to the alumni database at whatever school he's going to. Younger grads tend to have updated information and work info. Pick 5-10 folks in smaller banks/funds that are of interest and write a short (2 paragraphs) email asking about potential internships. PM me for more specific info. Best of luck.
I would try local boutiques and prop trading shops. You can also look for a PWM role.
