Which banks are advising the Russia/Ukraine merger?
I briefly heard on the news that there was a big merger in Eastern Europe between Russia and Ukraine, apparently some kind of hostile takeover.
I know Lazard has very strong Sovereign Advisory and CEE groups, so I guess they're involved in some way on the deal.
Do you guys have any information regarding who else is advising the transaction?
Bank of China. Heard some of their key Sponsor relationships are eyeing a tac-on acquisition of Taiwan and they want a little proof of concept before executing.
