Which banks are best in these areas

I'm trying to recruit for a banking associate position in summer 2011 in the US.

Can people rank/rate the various product groups at these banks? I know nothing about the industry and don't know how to figure out which banks are most involved in the different areas. They all come to campus and say they're the best.

Barclays Tech in NYC Barclays FSG Barclays M&A JPM TMT group JPM M&A BAML tech group BAML M&A GS TMT group Jefferies tech Jefferies M&A Morgan Stanley tech in NYC Citi tech group Citi M&A

Where can I find average compensation (including bonuses) figures on all these banks?
