Which banks have industry groups that do their own in house m&a without outsourcing it to a dedicated m&a team? I see this as a huge bonus as you get great modeling experience no matter which group you are placed into. Curious which banks have this and which don't.

For BBs, Barclays, GS, and some groups within MS do M&A in-house. Not sure about JPM and others - my impression is it's group-dependent. Most EBs run M&A within their coverage groups.
