Watchtell Lipton has the highest revenue per partner among all the white shoe law firms and deals the largest and the most complex transactions. Small associate class and only hire top students from top law school (editor of law review, top clerkship and order of the coif). It's also one of the most creative law firm. Martin Lipton invented the "poison pill" for takeover defense.
