rebelcrossLook back at some of the boutique threads from the past. You'll see some funny stuff.
Like Booz Allen being mentioned in the same breath as MBB? lol I feel that people here are such career climbers that they don't pretend that UBS is the best bank on the street because they work there. They know its only good in a few groups, but hope they can move to MS/GS or a megafund.
MBP I actually had a buddy email them his resume out of curiosity and they auto reply with an email consisting of like 15 questions they ask you to answer and talk about how they are 'revolutionizing the recruiting process'.

CallmeSirIMO boutiques like Lazard, Moelies, BX being compared or even supposed to be better than GS or MS for PE exits..
"Moelies." Clearly you're still in college. Read the thread where the MS M&A / KKR guy talked about who gets recruited: GS, MS, LAZ and BX are at the top (he didn't talk much about "Moelies"). The other elite boutiques (EVR, GHL, Centerview, etc) get some great loving from the buyside too. Let me guess, you're a sophomore?

Harris Williams - their MDs go-to-bat for their analysts!
Probably Goldman Sachs. You always see them being mentioned in the context of good banks ;-)
ubs. people try to say they are a bb.
UBS because of the great rep they have on here
Recently, the Gridley era was a pretty fun ride.
I have noticed Moelis getting a disproportionate amount of love on here. Nothing wrong with that of course!

The boutiques in general, but especially Moelis, Evercore and Greenhill.
