So after a long and grueling recruiting season, I ended up with two offers: one at Moody's for Data Ops and one at BAML PWM. I am leaning heavily towards the former, because it pays well, I really enjoy the team, and I feel like I will have a great chance to move forward with the position. On the other hand, it is very much a back office position, and I'm not sure if it will be good come next Spring when I try to land IBD SA positions. It seems like although PWM has very little to do with i-banking, the networking opportunities I can get through cold calling clients may possible help me get my foot in the door and secure first round interviews/ provide greater opportunities for exit ops.
