Which offer to lateral into BB IB

Hi All,

I am a senior at a non-target in the south with okay internship experience in leveraged finance (didn't receive return offer due to hedge count) and two *potential offers.

First: Equity Trader at a small prop trading firm in NYC. No Salary after I get my FINRA licenses and 50% PnL of a $1-2mm book for the first year. Second: Equity Research Analyst at a middle-market ER bank (Think Blair, Baird, Stifel) in a remote office (Wash DC, Milwaukee, SF).

I have the hopes to go into IB to lateral into a multi-manager hedge fund. I'd prefer to do IB over ER so I can get experience on deals if I want to do PE/MBA later. I would keep recruiting but I am scared shitless of not having a good offer soon/when I graduate. Any advice would be extremely helpful. If I do the trading job I will most likely apply to 2+2 programs.
