I haven't found a website that's been blocked yet. I only have two weeks left so I might try to see if I can find something
How hard have you looked?
Not that hard really. During my free time (after I ask other people for work, for those who would've said something) I just go through my normal site rotation as if I were at home. I've been on FB maybe twice but it's unblocked. YouTube works, Bodybuilding.com works, etc. The only time I've ran across a block is when I click on a thread title that has the word fuck in it.
Gambling-related websites only. Everything else is free game.
Nothing for me When I was in banking I couldnt even go to lingerie companies websites to do some "due diligence"!
Youtube is blocked for me (along with a few other sites), fortunately WSO isn't though.
everything.... But WSO
im jus glad dealbreaker isn't blocked.
At a Big 4 firm:
Urban dictionary Brobible (and any related men's sites) Firearms related sites Image and video hosting/meme sites Certain current events based on URL keywords
Haven't tried anything else
That's really it.
try pornhub and findtubes maybe?
notibles at mine are Deal Breaker, LinkedIn, and youtube.

Website Blocked By Web Filter? (Originally Posted: 03/15/2007)

that sucks...anybody know how can work around this?
I would suggest subscribing to the Quarterly newsletter so if / when I find a solution to this you can be updated. I might be able to develop a "shadow" site of sorts from various domains to mix it up...but I'll have to ask my IT guys.
I think what's catching the online web filter is the word "forum." I can access the homepage (ibo.com) but not ibo.com/forum.
If you get rid of the word "forum" or "messageboard" it might do the trick.

Blocked Sites At Work? (Originally Posted: 12/02/2008)
After the brief, yet alarming, scare at Merrill Lynch offices today in which CNBC.com was deemed to contain material 'inconsistent with ML electronic policy' and thus BLOCKED for a period of time (screengrabs: http://clusterstock.alleyinsider.com/2008/12/merrill-mer-cnbc-com-block… ), it got us wondering what other sites are blocked for you guys at work?
Hopefully WallStreetOasis, Clusterstock, DealBreaker, CNBC, and countless other bloggy resources are at your disposal. But what about other more risque timewasters like CollegeHumor, ESPN, LOLcats and straight up 'adult content'? We're not asking you to get banned, barred, or fired, just give us a shout with some noticeable sites that your well-intentioned employers believe to be unacceptable.
I can't believe my bank blocks www.defvac.com
Either you sling crack rock or you got a wicked jump shot
it was rather difficult for the first few months without my juicycampus.com fix
Gmail and Google calendar are blocked where I work. I would like to have been a part of the thought process that IT went through when they decided to block calendars...
