June 11th. Never looked forward to working as much as I am starting this internship lol. I won't have to deal with any kids for the summer. Bliss.

Didn't say that. I'm a teacher... I LITERALLY won't have to deal with any kids. Assumptions my man... assumptions.

advice to all of you, that i got from a exec director when I was intern:
"..every time you think you fucked up, you probably did not." saved me a lot of hyperventilations and freak outs. in retrospect the worst thing you can do as an intern is .. probably not a big deal. (even if you have an asshole analyst / associate exaggerating the situation!)

First day was legit. Started covering our holdings in the Pharmaceutical sector. They weren't exaggerating, that learning curve is steep.
my first day was meeting with manager we get two days of orientation top college is Cornell, she dresses liek a hoe though so can tell why she got in

regular no suit for us just b-casual, but the older people def suit up but I think it's because they are managers
Agreed learning curve is steep. Went right into building comps and updating models for a biotech company. Im working at a boutique with only one other intern, directly under an MD, so he also gave us a small lesson on Cap structures and leverage as well.
