Who played baseball growing up?
Lets find out.
I was a heck of a player growing up. I probs could have played D2.
Baseball originated from older bat-and-ball games, likely rounders, which was brought to North America from England by colonists. While early versions were played in the mid-1700s, the modern game developed in the mid-19th century with the codification of the "Knickerbocker Rules" by Alexander Cartwright's club in New York City
played at a mid major d1, my favorite is always hearing " i could have gone pro" or " i could have gone d1", at least youre a little modest saying d2.
Thanks man. I guess my nightly cry will be a little softer tonight with that compliment.
Im sure that level of sports pedigree comes in handy with interviewers, standing out from the crowd, MD being into sports etc. right?
I had offers from D3 schools and two no-name D2 schools, was going to play at one of the good D3 school but opted not to follow through before college started since there's no scholarship at that level anyway and it's still a big commitment.
yeah interviewers love it
I played a peewee league when I was young and was bored out of my mind so I never touched it again.
