At my school Credit Suisse, Citi and Goldman are interviewing for IBD. Not sure how many spots are available, but CS and Citi people seem confident that they would each extend a few offers. MS was scheduled to interview but pulled at the last minute and I was told there are hiring no none SA analysts.

Besides the bulge banks there are a lot of middle market players interviewing as well as a few well known boutiques.

Glad I'm a junior. GS, MS, and Citi still have full-time interviews up. Barclay's cancelled theirs, MS has cancelled a bunch of slots, UBS cancelled everything but Ops and IT, Credit Suisse cancelled all but one Alternative Investments interview, BNP Paribas completely cancelled, DB cancelled everything but one human resources interview. Lazard still has an interview up it looks like...

Seniors are pretty much fucked for lack of a better way to put it...

Is MS recruiting for IBD at your school?

They are only here for S&T

This season is honestly horrific...

of course firms will be recruiting for interns next summer, but those interviews will be early next year. the purpose of on-campus visits by recruiting teams this semester is just to keep the candle wick wet...

At my school, all the firms with the exception of ML & UBS created resume drops for IBD positions. A couple of weeks later DB, MS, and LEH (obviously) cancel. However, everyone else is still interviewing for FT (not sure if it is 'real' or just for school relationship).

Just heard yesterday that Lazard has officially filled their FT class so they aren't interviewing any more. Anyone else confirm this?

Also, my friend got a call from a recruiter at Lehman saying that they are officially honoring offers from the summer and that an offer letter from Barclays will be in the mail this week.
