Why Are there lateral ops at BB's but not EB's?

Looking to get into banking and have been noticing all lateral opportunities are all for BB's and not EB's at the moment. Are EB's likely to follow suit?

GS, JP (has a million ads), CS, Citi, MS, even RBC has ads up. Wondering will the EB's follow suit?

In London btw.

From my knowledge the EBs do a lot before listing anything online to the public. At least some of them, from my experience. For the purpose of an example, let’s say they have a internal list of maybe 15 positions. But at any given time maybe only 5-6 are listed online. They circulate the list of 15 or so internally and give incentives for current employees to share to their network. Like someone mentioned above, it’s a great way low effort way to get quality candidates. At the same time the internal HR prob reach out to their connections for any one that they think might be interested. Then I guess if all else fails they post online.

Also keep in mind just off numbers, EBs are smaller so at any given time less people are trying to leave and rarely any reason to add a headcount. In addition, less people in general try to leave since they pay more and typically have better culture.
