Why are they asking where I accepted for SA?
Recently accepted an offer for MM SA, but I'm still getting emails inviting me to interview processes for smaller boutiques that I shotgunned out resumes to.
I was slow to respond to a couple of them and one boutique was very persistent. They triple emailed me and called my phone to schedule a first round. I emailed them saying I accepted another offer. They responded very nicely and said they'd love to keep in touch for other opportunities, but they also asked where I accepted.
I was wondering if this is normal for other banks to ask where you accepted your offer and if there's any benefit to telling them?
just say "I’m not comfortable on disclosing that" or just leave their email on read. It’s for them to learn who are their competitors and to readjust their recruiting process
You can also just ignore their emails LOL.
