Why CS
I know it's a dump shit question. But I applied for all BBs and MM IBs and I couldn't find anything about Credit Suisse that makes it different from its competitor...
Would appreciate the help.

Career Resources
CS loves talking about its "collegial" culture and international footprint / diversity
Also, at every recruiting session the presentation had about ten slides emphasizing their Basel III capital levels lmao like who gives a shit about that Tier 1 ratio
I'd say their more long-term orientated than the American firms. If I had to choose a career firm CS would be near the top of the list. JPM is becoming C 2.0. GS is too trading focused and I would be worried about its longevity considering the political backlash.
As lame as it sounds, CS executives are the most moral/ethical compared to other BBs. Their bonus structure emphasizes long-term profits and not short-term cowboy risk-taking to pump share prices and exercise those options or what not.
CS may not have the "best" at what they do people but I respect the company's culture. I walk by their building on 23rd & Madison almost everyday and I rarely see the douche personalities outside you generally see at rival banks
Thanks mb666. Can you elaborate more about the "long-term orientated"?
I think culture. Out of the bulge brackets, I got the impression that Barclays and CS have the best reputation for having a strong culture.
Care to elaborate?
Is this for SA? FT? And this is for IBD right?
