Why do interviewers ask what the 10-year treasury yield is trading at?
I understand the important of the note and its yield, but do prospective summer analysts actually keep daily tabs on it?

It’s important to calculate beta to get the cost of equity for the WACC in a DCF, or cost of equity for an LBO (less regular).
