Hello, everyone. Do you know how investment business within big insurance companies works? For example, Swiss Re has private equity and other investment business. It also has an insurance-linked security portfolio business that requires strong modeling and mathematics skills. Why those big insurance companies usually have a very strong investment arm? How does insurance company carry out their investment business? Whether it is related to insurance trust (just guessing)? What about the compensation? Any ideas?
