Controversial

Because they don't want their entire floor spreading around a massively infectious disease that can potentially sideline a significant percentage of their staffers at once, causing a business disruption.

It has been demonstrated that new variants can get through old vaccines or re-infect those who have already gotten a different COVID variant.

Quit being a filthy little boy and get your vaccine. If I were your Associate and you left me hanging on a hairy, labor intensive deal because you caught COVID after refusing to vaccinate like a dickhead, I would throw a fucking stapler at your head.

Oh no, because working virtual would be virtually impossible

Working virtually isn't a problem, working through COVID is. I get that all the young, 20-something gunners feel that they can plow right through it but I don't think your 50-60 year old MD would be as excited about it. I'd be fucking pissed if some unvaxxed intern/analyst got me sick with that and I had to work through a busy week with a bad fever, cold-sweat, insomnia etc.

FWIW, I'm not a big masking or social distancing guy, but even I don't really want to be in a packed office with a bunch of non-vaccinated dudes running around me. I'm not that scared of COVID but being sick blows and if there's a vaccine that prevents it, why in god's name would we all run around vulnerable, infected and coughing all over one another?

The fact that you believe that the vaccines play a role in preventing transmission is deeply disturbing, and exposes the true extent to which the media has brainwashed you. Perhaps you have spent too long in banking and have lost the capacity for critical thinking? Suggest you watch Jordan Peterson for a bit - he has some lessons on how to avoid groupthink.

Lol I can't tell if this comment is sarcastic or just that good. Hits all the classic points (brainwashing, MSM, groupthink) and then the Jordan Peterson reference at the end just ties it all together.

Nothing to do with vaccines, those diseases were cleared up because of hygiene / sanitation improvements.

This Biden-esque / Democrat view that vaccines have 'efficacy' is truly dangerous and worrying. True Americans and Republicans would realise the danger of subscribing to this view. I hope DeSantis bans vaccines when he becomes President.

Literally have many folks (college students and 30+ y/o)around me getting Covid after having them 2 times. This commonly held light disease can still be potent enough to make folks suffer for a good 7 days, or longer. Something IB would especially avoid as much as they can, given the compact working environment, and COVID’s highly transmissive nature.

Seems as though the people still getting COVID nowadays are those who have gotten the vaccine and however many boosters

...because 9/10 people in NYC have already had the vaccine, ie, most people who catch COVID are vaccinated because 90% of people are vaccinated. It isn't because the vaccine makes you more likely to catch COVID retard. It's clinically proven to help prevent COVID and then prevent severe hospitalization cases for those that still catch it.

This dude has about as good an understanding of Statistics as IU Kelley's student body has of diversity.

Since the vaccines' inception, the messaging has been constantly changing regarding expected results as well as efficacy. The VAERs database has been absolutely inundated with adverse reactions/deaths from the vaccines and due to the lengthy writeup necessary, a lot of cases don't make it into the db (the amount of adverse reactions/deaths would've shut any other vaccine down). If you've noticed, we went from "you won't get covid after getting the vax" to "you're going to have less severe reaction to covid after getting the vax". This is a meaningless statement as 99.9% of healthy individuals under the age of 50 get Covid and experience flu like or cold like symptoms for a week or less. In the meantime, it's an everchanging goalpost and the boosters will continue to be pushed out.

Covid and the vaccines were part of Agenda 2030 and accomplished several goals - forced economic reset, massive transfer of wealth, destruction of mom & pop shops, mass trauma event/compliance operation, lowered public morale and created more division, derailed early development of infants/children, and mass sterilization as a population control measure. As we know now - the vaccine is actually gene therapy, and the spike proteins do not stay localized to your upper arm. They travel throughout the body and attack the testes and ovaries. The reason why heads of state, pharma execs, members of congress and senate don't have to take the shots/aren't taking them couldn't be more clear.

The vaccines are required in banking as the board members of major financial institutions all come from the same select organizations/councils and work i conjunction to achieve worldwide initiatives.

Take a good, hard look prospects. If you fail to break into IB and take a job in corporate "Strategy" you'll have to work with retards like this.

Par for the course.

You have no response to the outsized number of adverse side effects, the sudden "random" deaths of healthy adults now being called "SADs", minimal if any efficacy against a disease that kills very few young/healthy individuals, and the alarming decay of fertility rates that we're being told is completely normal. Instead you insult and deflect. You're dominated by your emotions and not intelligent enough to think for yourself. But hey, a multinational pharma company told you (via $12b in advert spend and state sponsorship) that it's in your best interest to get your 4th booster.

Go for it, bubba. Make sure you post your vax sticker on instagram story so you don't miss out on the well deserved plaudits.

This. The narrative went from:

1. Vaccines prevent transmission and have long-lasting immunity. One and done (or 2 and done with mrna) with no serious side effects.

2. Vaccines prevent transmission and have long-lasting immunity but they may cause heart inflammation. All other alleged side effects (like blood clots, menstrual cycle changes, etc.) are all conspiracy theory.

3. Vaccines don't prevent transmission nor do they have long-lasting immunity, but boosters provide very high levels of protection. Heart inflammation and blood clots are thing, but they're rare. So are the autoimmune diseases.

4. Neither vaccines nor boosters prevent transmission. Both vaccinated and unvaccinated carry the same viral load. The boosters last for about two weeks and we're pulling J&J because costs outweigh benefits. Heart inflammation isn't as rare as we think and menstrual cycle changes are a thing.

These things aren't vaccines and the pharma companies have way too much power.

Unbelievable that people still give a f**k about taking a vaccine - whether or not it's effective doesn't even phase me, I just do it so I can come to work and do my damn job.  'Gene damage' is hilarious when this job involves sleep deprivation which actually damages genes based on numerous studies.  'Oh man, this vax is like a conspiracy and really bad for you but let me sleep 4 hours, go drinking and maybe do some drugs cause that's not like endorsed by Bill Gates'.

The purpose of the vaccines is to induce submission, and minimise free will and independent thinking. Three to four doses of the vax will make you a good, submissive analyst. And if you've already had your fourth jab, why not a fifth? Or a sixth? Let's pay Big Pharma to install an automated jabbing station at the office entrance. "One jab per week or you're FIRED!" - Jamie Dimon. No wonder JPMorgan Healthcare team brings in so much fees.

Because they’re located in mini dictatorships and people have been conditioned to not think for themselves.  The only places I see in my area that care anymore are hospitals and when you talk to some of the people there you find out it’s a crock of shit.  Its like having both parents work to earn what one parent could’ve earned 30 years ago.  People think they’re liberated when really they’re enslaved.  Quite sad.

Only two sources I trust, Glenn Beck and singing woodland creatures.

BB analyst here, I will literally never take the vaxx. All the people around me got 2, if not 3 or 4 doses and are regularly sick. Meanwhile, despite being exposed all the time to potential infection sources (e.g., going out) I never got it.

Then people tell us - "But hey, it's not about reducing the spread, the vaccine just lowers the probability to go to hospital if you get covid!". In that case, it's a you problem and my decision to get vaccinated or not has no impact on your health at all. I'd rather not develop blood clots and other horrible long-term vaccine injuries, thanks.

If you do go to the hospital, you’re taking up a spot in ER from someone else. That someone else may be immunocompromised or undergoing some kind of treatment (eg chemo) where they could not take the vaxx. Those people need the bed/ventilator in ER more than most people on this forum do.

I’m all for free choice, but to say that your decision doesn’t impact other’s healthcare is a really silly statement (though not unexpected from someone who’s likely only experienced the American healthcare system).

Fat people are taking beds from in shape people.

Smokers are taking beds from non-smokers.

Binge drinkers are taking beds from the sober.

Tanning bed users are taking beds from the sunscreen wearers.

Fast drivers are taking beds from cautious drivers.

And so on and so forth.

Can’t wait until our state sponsored social credit scores give the docs a full account of our vices and transgressions so they can determine who deserves medical care the most.

Good work, assuming you must be top bucket?

All of the MS thrown at the anti-vaxx posts in this thread are clearly from the mentally impaired / bottom bucket hardos. We all know who they are - the same guy who delivers comps files late and containing a shit load of mistakes, THAT’S that same guy who believes that vaccines work.

I can't believe some of you all believe the vaccine is "more harmful" to your body then the constant sleep deprivation, stress, alcohol/drug abuse, and a myriad of other activities you partake in during your lifetime. If you think the COVID-19 vaccine will be your downfall then holy shit you need to go look yourself in the mirror.
