Career Resources
Lol are you trying to get people to answer the big interview question for you?
Good foundation to start a career
I always prefer sell-side deals to buy-side deals because "fighting" to get the best outcome through both valuation and deal structure is much more fulfilling than trying to low-ball a seller. It feels more purposeful in that the job that you will ultimately reap the best possible rewards to both your sell-side client and your own bank (through the way fees are structured). Especially with founder-led companies you have an innate sense of incentive to do right by your client, which at the end of the day is the only thing that makes IB exciting for me.
Being a buyside advisor is pretty fun. Get to help diligence a business and then also try to get them to pay as much as they're willing to so you can get that success fee.
