Why the BofA hate?

I don't work there but BofA is an incredible bank. They are one of the strongest brand names, exit routinely to MFPE, HF, and UMM. Just look on LinkedIn. The top groups like M&A and Sponsors all do well. I have some friends who have exited to several prestigious funds. They have protected Saturday's and an incredible culture.

Sure, maybe we get paid slightly below Street, but that is completely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things when everyone will exit and lead a long life in finance after that regardless. In terms of work product, it is the same exact deliverables as every other bank. I wouldn't choose BofA over some BB's but certainly over any EB. Nobody knows the EB names when you speak to other people. I know it's a meme, but it's a little ridiculous at this point.
