Will they contact my high school for my Background Check?

My understanding is that background checks are annoying, and they will ask for evidence of where you have lived and what have you done for the past 10 years.

I am concerned about this because I got "expelled", temporarily (for 3 weeks), from my High School and would really not want the bank to find out.

I did provide the grades I achieved during this time and I have the transcript (didn't lie) but I am quite concerned about them contacting my High School, as I was very retarded back then.

If they are going to contact them, will they ask for any other information besides my grades (I also have an extracurricular activity I did during HS in my CV/Resume)?

The bank is a BB, not sure if this makes any difference.

You’ll be fine (I’m assuming it’s not related to some sort of unsealed felony and in that case it would pop up somewhere else as well). I’m from a state that allows you to request a copy of your background check and the only thing that pops up related to high school is the dates and if you received a diploma. I’ve personally never had my gpa appear.

Funniest

They will ask your prom date for references, and your 5th grade gym teacher to verify the number of pull ups you can do in a minute. I lost a job offer because I wrote on resume that I was skilled in backstroke but really people could only speak to my butterfly stroke. I work at a Wendy’s in a rural town in Arkansas now, can only dream about doing dcfs now. SAD!

Honestly, with how boring and generic resumes are, if you put I got expelled in HS and put it on your resume,  I would be more likely to call you to hear something funny.
