William Blair and ICS
William Blair just recently announced the completed acquisition of Inner Circle Sports at the beginning of July, a smaller boutique based out of NYC that focuses on a lot of sports-centric deals (as the name may suggest). Was curious if anyone had any color on if the new segment of business will continue operating in NYC, move to Chicago, be in both cities etc. I know WB goes with a hybrid recruiting strategy where FT hires go through a placement process before starting for the HQ in Chicago, but immediately place into industry/product at the other offices like NYC/Boston/Charlotte. Would love to hear y'all's thoughts.
