William Blair Charlotte
Has anyone heard anything about William Blair in Charlotte? I know they're opening a new office with some bankers from Black Arch, but I have not heard much other than that. Any info on their timeline for analyst recruitment?

They have a posting up for an experienced analyst not sure about SA/FT
Has anyone heard back after the first round for FT non experienced?
Bump. Anybody have any details on the Charlotte office? Looks like the groups are Aerospace & Defense, Healthcare, and Transportation, Logistics, and Automotive.
Any insight on culture, hours, etc. would be helpful.
Bumping this up in 2020. Looks like they’re taking on experienced analysts - curious if anyone knows anything about comp / culture / deal flow and if this is a growing group
Extremely new group that has poached bankers from other Charlotte peers to gain critical mass. Mostly aerospace and defense. Still light on the junior level: they recruited at my friend's b school, then later said they weren't taking summer associates in that office.
They were looking for summer analysts last cycle, no idea on numbers.
bumping to see if anyone has any up-to-date info regarding hours, culture, etc
Anybody have experience with this office?
Bumping this again in Fall 2022; anyone have experience with (or educated thoughts on) their A&D work or the Industrial Growth Products group?
.
A&D group is solid. Lots of ex-military in the group, and the culture is rather cliquey in that you'll definitely feel a bit left out if you're not ex-military and the seniors definitely show a bit of favoritism towards veterans.
Thanks for the quick response; are you currently or were you previously in the A&D group there? If so, would you be willing to field a couple extra questions offline?
