Got placed into FT recruiting at WB by a connection I know there. The applications open towards the end of the summer but it seems like there is a lot of weight on networking. I know for a fact that they can suggest people and you can probably get a first round.

Since I networked with someone that I knew beforehand, YMMV. But, I reached to him around End of June and he kept me updated on when applications were opening and him submitting his recommendation.
