Would a CIS or Business Analytics Minor be unnecessary with a Finance major?
I'm a sophomore at Indiana University and currently have a 3.8 GPA with 3 summers of interning in PWM for a "big name". I am too satisfied with my school choice to transfer. My question here, is with a Finance major, is it worth it to add either CIS or Business Analytics as a minor? I am assuming this will result in a drop in my GPA a little with the increased workload, but am wondering if it's worth it to have that extra addition to my resume? Thanks
Probably not worth it - with 3 summer of PWM internships I'm going to assume you're a Junior or Senior. At this point, if you're interested in doing something other than PWM, experience in whichever career you're most interested would be the most beneficial and I would focus all me time and effort on that.
