Would doing a year abroad help me?

Hello there,

I've recently been accepted into an upper end semi-target in the UK for Accounting and Finance. I understand that Economics could be a stronger option so I will attempt to transfer into that programme. However if that doesn't go to plan, I have the option of studying for a year abroad where I would be able to study Economics. I would still graduate with an A&F degree however I would have a transcript of my year abroad studying Econ. Would this benefit me in my attempt to break in

Not really going to impact you either way - but you should do it, you don’t need to shape all experiences specifically to match the ideal approach to IB recruitment. Have fun!

i'd say an industrial placement in a finance sector would do you more good than studying in a random country but what do I know?
Also is it Durham or Bristol?
