Would you move out for your GF to the country with limited opportunities?

I wanted to understand general consensus and get a long-term perspective.

Would you move out from e.g. UK /US to the country with maybe 20 decent seats in IB/PE? You will likely end up working on much smaller, local transactions / investments.

Thanks

saw this youtube video recently of some decent looking, put-together guy who moved to the Philippines (complete shithole country, btw) and started a chicken farm. the thought instantly sprung to mind: the only reason a rational white guy would voluntarily move to the third world was bc his bitch dragged him out there and he was too spineless to say no. "But I don't want to leave my family!"; You'd rather eat mudcakes and deep fried crickets for the rest of your life when we could be on a boat in the Hamptons on the weekends?
