GE's FMP is really good. Best non-IB internship you can do to get into IB later on.

Why such a hostile reply? Chill out bro. If it's GE's FMP internship, that's one of the best finance gigs you can get. WSO has Bulge Bracket tunnel vision though, so don't expect many helpful responses. Great job in and of itself, and provides great leverage into IB/Consulting. Some major consulting firms give 2X the bonus to former FMPs.

Think long and hard about an investment banking job. What are your long term goals. Some IB jobs are tolerable some are not. If it's only an internship then go for it and see if you like the life. It only gets worse from there.
I enjoy finance and Im not scared to outwork whoever. Im ready for the lifestyle I just wanna know how it will look for next year on my resume. The recruiter mentioned great exposure to sreadsheets,balance statements underwriting. As far as goals I just wanna work in high finance HF,PE,VC,RE, or staying in IB are all ok with me
Is GE FMP really that coveted? I know a few people that are going there full time after graduation but I considered it more of a fall back to front-office roles at BB/Boutiques.

I don't know much about CIT but Trade Finance is booming, especially in Asia and LatAm.
However, if you are 100% set on IBD you should probably take the FMP internship because of the prestige/brand associated with it
Anybody know the comp or exit ops in Trade Finance? or if their IB-Healthcare group is of street level comp and exit op wise?
