A few years ago we had several WSO drinks in the City but these have basically died off. I admit some responsibility for this as I used to organise them but have slacked. Nevertheless, spring is here (bar the occasional 2 minutes of snow in April....), deal flow is quietening down pre-Brexit vote and it seems like a good time to try and get another one of these going!
Previously we've always met in the City, simply because of it's halfway point between Mayfair and the Wharf (and, somewhat selfishly, closest to me). Looking for suggestions on dates, venues etc. Thursday is always a good day. I'll gauge the interest and sort something out. Please do post if you'd be interested in coming along!
WEDNESDAY 18TH MAY, 7PM - THE GEORGE at LIVERPOOL STREET
Usual WSO Happy Hour rules apply - no awkward job seeking,, just a few pints (maybe more depending on the crowd....). All welcome of course.
hey, i'll promote this on the frontpage next week, and then let me know when you have some nailed down (can you email me?) and we'll get it out to the London email list, thanks Asatar! hope all is well
Will do!
good to see these starting back up again. have fun!
Also interested in both the event and the London email list. Cheers!
you can sign up for the london email list on this page (on the right side) http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/events
Was actually searching WSO for London events a couple of weeks back.
Consider me interested in both the event and this London distribution list that I had no clue existed.
Same here
And here
Passing through London, next week. If anything is happening, I'm game.
Keen!

I'm in!
Interested. Thursday sounds like a good day.
Going to pencil in Wednesday 18th May, 7pm start, somewhere around Bank as that's fairly convenient for all areas. Location TBC.
Have time guys! Many pints of Pride!
Will probably make it.
Interested as well
Update. Moving to WEDNESDAY 18TH MAY due to scheduling clashes.
Just moved to London. Interested! Will be there
As a reminder - this will be on WEDNESDAY 18TH MAY, 7pm. Venue will be confirmed either Monday or Tuesday.
Venue is The George pub at Liverpool Street station. See you all there!
New to London as well and been a lurker for some time, I am up for it
Interested.
Despite the dreary weather, I'll be there at 7pm. Blue shirt, lightish suit. PM me for my mobile if you're utterly lost. Hope to see as many as possible there!
Had some questions about clothing and timing. Wear whatever you want as long as it's not shorts and flip flops and getting there a bit later is absolutely fine.
So it's rather crowded in here. For anyone else turning up, were in the middle by one of the tables, almost directly in front of the door
I feel you mate
