have you guys seen anyone a yacht or maybe a private jet in IB or PE? Many HF founders have one but whats the scene with PE, not talking about the founders.

I've seen firms do a brief charter for a party or something. Most of the IB people can't afford a true "yacht."
Haven't met anybody in PE with a private jet lol, but a family friend who is a VP (very small carry) has a pretty decent boat. I think that this comes down location at the end of the day. It's far easier and cheaper to buy a yacht in Florida than it is in NYC.
