You are all delusional and it's hilarious

Tech wins plain and simple, banking sucks

IB and Banking is the biggest pyramid scheme there is, the moment you start actually doing something which brings value you will know what I am talking about.

Have fun grinding for the "prestige" of living in a box in a hcol area, while we work 10hrs a week and coast remotely to 500k per year.

You are useless automatons in their grinding machine.

Everyone wants to do banking nowadays, why would you want to work with npcs next to you?

This is getting quite absurd. Why do these incels from Blind keep posting this here? Is it the same person under different accounts each time? It’s also interesting that these posts all started after all the growth stocks collapsed in market cap and the layoffs began.

Personally, I find it quite telling how insecure they must feel about their own career choice given that they decide to unpromptedly tell strangers on the internet why their profession is worse. I recommend nobody engages with these tools because they are not interested in a good faith discussion, and this conversation has been rehashed on these forums dozens of times.

Switching my major rn. The 1000 other posts didn’t convince me, but this one did. Later, losers. 😎

You guys are all WRONG. End this tech vs finance debate already. We all know that the world cannot survive without healthcare

Healthcare is the only true recession-proof industry. If banking goes down, tech, consulting and law (except criminal law/family law/any low paying non-corporate lawyer) will die together.

The only surviving occupation will be doctors, nurses, EMTs, Jimmy McGill-type lawyers, retail/commercial bankers and app developers. Basically any low-paying job in all industries will thrive in a recession
