1st Week of Work & Interviewing???

Hey,
I am an active user who has created another account just for privacy. I was recently offered a role at a major firm in midwest with a start date of next week. At the same time, it's not my ideal position. Also next week I have two final round interviews (both in person) for jobs that I would rather take. I have been trying to come to a solid decision with this situation, as I do want to interview for the other positions but don't want to send up red flags to my new employer.

I figured I'd consider the opinions of my fellow monkeys. What course of action would you guys suggest?

Thank you!

Why don't you request to push the start date a week? You kind of screwed yourself in the pooch by accepting a start date that soon when you were in the process with other positions.

I can't really suggest what I would do because I would of known not to accept a position starting that quickly when I had other better positions in the works.
