2021 Analyst Applications - are they opening, and when?

I was under the impression that for the BBs the vast majority would be opening beginning of September. Other than for HSBC, none appear to be open. For JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Citi etc there appears to be no listing on their websites, or indication of if and when they will open.

I may be an utterly foolish error on my part, but is anyone else having the same problem?

I’m a third year at a non-target. How do you network with no relevant connections or alumni base? Also how far will banks in general recruit for the Summer of 2021? I’ve been applying like crazy and got a few HireVues/assessments back. My resume experience is pretty good since it’s relevant but not sure how to network and how too late it is. I really have no idea what the recruiting timeline is, some people say 2021 recruiting started in March this year lol.

edit: oh just realized this was for analysts not summer analysts, I’ll just leave this here in case I get an answer though.

SA recruiting is March-September, mostly in the summer, so you're definitely on the later side. Look for some boutique/regional banks that may just be starting their recruiting.

You have to network by sending cold emails, whether to alumni or just random people, and getting them on the phone - do a search on here for more info. Applying online is a black hole which few people hear back from.
