2023 Fidelity Investment Management Internship

Believe there’s 3 different divisions open right now: Real Estate Debt, Equity Trading, and Equity Sector Specialist. Anyone have any information on past cycles, interviews, on-the-job stuff, targeted schools, required technical knowledge, etc.? Seems like a top internship that any non-diverse kid can get for their sophomore summer. Believe it’s only available to incoming sophomores too.

Finished with HR/recruiter interview. Applied for Equity Specialist and Real Estate Debt teams. There’ll be two waves of candidates. First wave finishes by EOW. 2nd wave in early August. Top candidates from each pool will be given 2nd and final round interview. If selected for final round, you can only interview for one position. Not sure how large applicant pool is, but heard there’s 2 spots for Equity Specialist and 1 spot for Real Estate Debt teams, so ostensibly super competitive. Applied as incoming soph at semi-target; not sure if they’ll gatekeeper final rounds and/or offers to top Ivy’s. Seems ridiculous how limited spots are given that I’ve seen them advertise all over LinkedIn and were on a handful of non-target Handshakes.

Was told by HR during R1 that first superdays would not be until late July/early august…a bit confused now?

There’s 3 different positions within IM - RE Debt, Equity Specialist, Equity Trading. 1st interview is behavioral and you rank your top choices. If you move on then you are silo’ed into one of the three

Hmm… check handshake (the positions were well advertised across numerous non-targets) around early August.

I got an email yesterday saying I moved on to next round. Not sure if it's super day or not. Recruiter mentioned in first interview that there would only be 2 interviews (first round then super day) so not sure if this next round is super day or just a 2nd round. What’d you hear? Did you get similar email? If so, for which position?

Bump - any updates? Had a second round (HR didn’t mention it, only said first rd and SD) and got grilled on behaviorals/resume. Thought it went poor as I was expecting technicals. Anyone also have 2RD?
