3rd year physics student, 2 year slump after shitcoins broke my brain, how can i get into finance?

i study physics at a decent european university (roughly top 100 worldwide) and i am in 3rd year, but i still have a long way to go and my gpa is dogshit. the reason is that about a year into uni i got addicted to gambling on worthless internet meme tokens. nearly dropped out of school because i was sitting in front of my computer for 12 hours a day looking for new strategies to juice the lowest common denominator on the market and subsequently losing a lot of the money i made on futures, ad nauseam. had a full mental health crisis about it that lasted 2 years. so i lost a bunch of money, time, my sanity, and i completely fucked up my transcript

my case for finance:

- i know a bunch of math and am somewhat more technically competent than my peers

- i have quite a good overview of what goes on in the world of finance and have a knack for pricing things with very limited amounts of usable data

- i have learned what too much greed does to you the hard way

-i speak 6 languages, 4 fluently

- i blew up several times, so i am a subject matter expert on what not to do

questions:

1. is a career in finance within the realm of possibility

2. assuming that’s the case, is a master's the way to make my situation better or will i just fail upward into a longer slump and a bigger pile of wasted money, all of it financed by my own stupidity

serious answers welcome but i'll also accept being told to go do a trade school
