This is a list of the Top 10 Finance Internships-although old from 2011 this changes little over time-advise you keep it handy if you haven't applied to it already. Not all internships start in Summer, some start in January. However, they already have had their superdays.
1. AT&T
What's so great about an AT&T internship?
Yeah this doesn't seem like an especially helpful list... different places would be better depending on what specifically you want to be doing. An internship at AT&T would be totally different than one at a large bank...
I don't think so. With AT&T, a Fortune 100 company, banks could wanna hire you a telecom analyst, you can get a foothold in TMT

According to whom? AT&T and Northwestern Mutual don't seem to fit in this list in the least bit. Shape up dude.

I am as surprised as you are. I don't know why Forbes staff included them. We'd have to ask Jacquelyn Smith, I guess, who wrote it.

What does "Top" even mean in this context? Is it the learning experience? Pay? Opportunities made available?
I can barely take undergrad program rankings seriously let alone this list.
