Advice
Hello all,
I'm currently enrolled as an undergraduate in a target school in the UK but I'll need to leave at the end of my 1st year back to my home country since I need to be close to my family due to health reasons. I'm expecting a first.
Do I have any chance when applying to London IB jobs in the future, considering I was in a target school and managed to get a first in my first year? Visa not a problem
Similar to me man, but didn't have to relocate. Will you return after the year at home and can you return to second year at the target?
I would only return to work if accepted. If it's possible I will return to target but don't see it happening
Any further thoughts?
Without a target university degree in your resume or infact any degree your chances are close to zero to landing into a reputable bank. Your best bet if you want to stay close to family is doing a virtual degree / local degree and applying to banks in your country. Then think about lateralling after a few years.
