Any tips on how to get those prestigous firms to notice me MBB, Goldman, JP Morgan, etc..

Where should I be aiming?
I know a English major who got a job at McKinsey & Co. So I think i'm just smart and well rounded, that why i'm aiming so high.
Wouldn't it be best to ask them then? You'd be networking and learning at the same time....
How is your GPA, if you have a great GPA your major doesn't really matter (unless your talking about quant etc).
Comms major with a 3.7 vs Finance major with a 2.2... That Comms major is getting the interview
