Advice - SA 23 Recruiting

All - like many of you, working on 23 SA recruiting - at non-target, non-diverse 3.85 (big 10, IB club) - targeting MM/UMM firms for IB - have had a handful of interviews - one solid MM Superday, which resulted in me being 1st on their “hold” list, and they offered me ECM internship and the MD who runs ECM also runs a coverage group and said the switch to IB after a year or two is a solid possibility and would include me in some deal work in the SA program - I am not getting much luck in terms of BB looks (despite networking/emails/applications) and having most progress with other MM firms.  I am in the first around with a couple other MMs currently - do I take the ECM IB SA role, or roll the dice all summer gunning for direct IB at other MM shops?  The SA opportunity is with a solid firm and I trust the MD in ECM (former coverage banker) is going to help me migrate to IB if that’s the path I want over time. Is tough to know exactly what to do at age 19….thanks WSO.  Pay is the same at 110-115 annualized for summer and ECM is part of IB at this firm.
