Alexander Chapman Spam Calls

I applied to and in the process for an analyst lateral position through AC. Now every morning at 8 am I get spammed call by other recruiters at the firm.

Instantly see NYC area code and just don’t pick up. This shit happen to anyone else?

What is their business model? Since everyone knows they just spam without real roles, how do they actually make money?

I have threatened them over email with a reporting to the FBI for fraud and the BBB (I think). The recruiter followed up with a snarky email saying good luck getting a non-US based company in trouble with a US government agency. But they mostly stopped emailing me.

They also called me a TON. If you have an iPhone - there's an AI/robotic screener option that asks incoming calls from unknown numbers to first state their name and purpose for calling you. This has helped a bit.

I've also started blocking every single Alexander Chapman number they use.

The calling has diminished but I wish I never submitted my resume there. For the record - I submitted one resume.

I HATE them.

Are the roles they post even real? One of their headhunters just reached out about a posting and asked me to list out specific information about other processes I'm in (what firm, hr contact, etc.) over email so they could "avoid duplicate opportunities".
